FROM March 2014 until September 2016, Darussalam line 123 (TD123) managed 756,959 calls, with an average of 24,000 per month, most of which were related to public queries on electric and water services.

This was yesterday disclosed by e-Government National Centre (eGNC) Director Mazriyani binti Haji Abdul Ghani during a press conference held in Jalan E-Kerajaan.

She also told the assembled media that 70 per cent of the complaints were successfully managed by TD123, with 79 per cent being solved within six days.

“If the complaints are related to general issues, the answers will be given directly,” she said, adding, “But if it involves complicated issues such as a major road problem, it will take a while, as we continue to keep track of all individual complaints with constant updates.”

At the same time, the director announced the addition of two new channels: the ‘TD123 Mobile App’ and the ‘TD123 Live Chat’.

The TD123 Live Chat enables users to send videos and photos via WhatsApp to 8333123, while the TD123 Mobile App allows the public to send photos, track the status of their complaints and receive notifications on their Smartphones or Tablets.

The TD123 Mobile App is available to download from the App Store and Google Play, for IOS and Android devices.

These new channels are expected to provide the Brunei Government with a more efficient and faster response to public queries or complaints.

Darussalam line 123 is a national contact centre for non-emergency services involving various government agencies such as the Department of Electrical Services, Ministry of Development, Ministry of Health, Land Transport Department, the Marine Department, e-Darussalam, the PSC Recruitment and OneBiz.

TD Live Chat and TD123 Mobile App are the latest additions to the existing channels which are the hotline at 123; email at info@123.com.bn; the website at www.123.gov.bn; and Facebook (www.facebook.com/td123bn), Instagram (@td123bn) and Twitter (@td123bn).

For more information, visit www.123.gov,bn or contact Darussalam line 123 through any of the available channels.
