This Privacy Policy explains how the E-Government National Centre, Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (“EGNC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses and manages personal data submitted through this Website. It must be read together with the Website’s Terms of Use.

3. 1          With regards to data provided by you or which we have collected, unless prohibited by written law, we may share, transfer and disclose data with Government agencies; law enforcement authorities, regulatory bodies; and third-parties approved by the Government, where such transfer is necessary to deliver services or carry out functions that require your data. We may also display to you data you had previously supplied us. This will speed up the process and save you the trouble of repeating previous submissions.

3.2          We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss to the extent reasonably practicable.

3.3          Your data is stored on servers, systems or devices owned, operated or managed by the Government.

 

4.     Transfer or Disclosure to Third Parties

4.1          We will not share your personal data to third parties (whether within or outside Brunei Darussalam) for purposes other than those for which the personal data was collected, unless if disclosure is necessary to respond to your enquiry; or is required by law, regulation or government authorities.

4.2          Where the Government appoints a third-party service provider to process personal data on its behalf, the Government will instruct such provider to process such personal data solely for the specific purposes as required by the Government.

4.3          We do not sell, rent or distribute your data for commercial purposes.

You may contact us at any time if you wish to correct any inaccurate or outdated data that you have submitted to us.

6.     Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this Website. Your continued use of the Website following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
