The Network Infrastructure Readiness for E-Government Project involves the supply and delivery of network equipments and trainings by IT Protective Security Services (ITPSS) through outright purchase for a period of two (2) years starting from 9 December 2010 until 8 December 2012.
Through this project, each ministry and department will be able to:

Build new LAN Infrastructure

Upgrade and/or Enhanced existing LAN Infrastructure

Send personnel for Network Trainings, by choosing the appropriate network training programs listed in the master contract.
Each ministry and department will be responsible for the planning and procurement of their own network infrastructure requirements using their own budget, which may be the appropriate annual departmental budget or from the National Development Fund for e-government projects.
Objectives:

To manage the efficiency and improve the process of procuring network equipments and trainings by ministries and departments.

To standardise the procurement of network equipments and trainings.

To reduce the tendering and quotation works.

To standardise the usage of government network equipments.

To help monitor and track the network equipments within the Government.

To allow ministries and departments to procure network equipments and trainings at fixed prices throughout the master contract period.
